In fact, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children visit their dentist by the time they turn one. Ideally we’d to see your child as soon as their first tooth comes in, but no later than their first birthday.

As a parent, you play a huge roll in making your child’s experience fun and positive! Counting teeth together, reading children’s books about the dentist, and playing games are all great ways to shake off those nerves and make going to the dentist an amazing adventure!

What your first visit will be like
We start by going over your child’s medical/dental history followed by an examination. If we find anything significant during this exam we’ll discuss all your options. After that, we perform a thorough cleaning and polishing of the teeth followed by a fluoride application.
During your entire visit, our friendly team will explain every procedure to your child in words they can understand – removing all fear of the unknown!
