We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic insurance coordinator to join our team at our growing, busy pediatric dental practice. As the insurance coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate claim submission, insurance verifications, and follow-up on behalf of the patients. At least two years of dental front office experience is preferred. You will love this job if you like “getting to the bottom” of insurance problems and advocating on behalf of patients and parents!
In this role, you would interact directly with patients, parents, guardians and team members daily to answer questions about their insurance benefits, verify insurance benefits, resolve disputed claims and obtain necessary documentation from insurance companies. Our ideal candidate needs to have

- The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Our Dental Assistants interact with patients to provide information about procedures and services while consistently maintaining an extreme emphasis on customer service. They work together with our entire dental team to ensure quality patient care is the top priority. Dental Assistants greet and prepare patients for care, assist dentists in a positive manner while administering care, and maintain instruments and supplies.
Job Purpose: Supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment room, patient, instruments and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice act. Some travel is required between our locations.

- Provides materials by selecting, mixing and placing materials on instruments and in the patient’s mouth.
- Provides diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies; pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts.
- Maintains patient appearance and ability to masticate by fabricating temporary restorations; cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
- Educates patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions.
- Documents dental care services by charting in patient records.
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
