Kristal Raya DMD

Board Certified Pediatric Dentist

 Dr. Kristal Raya chose a career in pediatric dentistry because she is passionate about disease prevention and wants to help all children grow up with healthy smiles.

Dr. Raya completed her undergraduate education at the University of Kansas in 2011, receiving her bachelor’s degree in human biology with a minor in business. She then completed her master’s degree in biomedical science at Midwestern University, College of Health Sciences in Illinois in 2014. Dr. Raya went on to complete her dental education at Midwestern University, College of Dental Medicine in Illinois, graduating first in her class in 2018. Dr. Raya completed her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry with NYU Langone Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, where she served as Chief Resident.

Following her training, Dr. Raya served in the National Health Service Corps, treating children in underserved communities in Missouri.

Both Dr. Raya and her husband, Nick, were born and raised in Hutchinson, and are so excited to move back closer to their family. They have a two-year-old, Theo, and are looking forward to welcoming the birth of their daughter this summer. Outside of the office, Dr. Raya enjoys volunteering with Special Olympics and cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks.
